May 2 News.Anthropic Yesterday's upgrade of its AI assistant ClaudeThe launch of the new "Integrations" framework and "Advanced Research" model.Max, Team, and Enterprise plan users have been invited to test, and Pro plan users will be covered soon.

Note: The Integrations framework gives Claude the ability to connect to leading tools, including Atlassian's Jira and ten popular services such as Confluence, Zapier, Asana, and more.
The framework is based on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard released in November of last year, which now allows developers to set up remote MCP servers on web pages, and users to gain real-time access to projects, tasks, and organizational knowledge.
This feature turns Claude into an intelligent assistant that supports a wide range of workflows, from data integration to task management. For example, with Zapier, Claude connects to thousands of apps to automate meeting presentations, and with Intercom, it analyzes user feedback and manages the entire process from feedback to issue resolution.
The "Advanced Research" mode enhances Claude's information-seeking abilities, allowing him to break down complex problems into smaller parts, investigate them in depth, and ultimately synthesize them into comprehensive reports. A typical research task can take 5-15 minutes, while a complex task can take up to 45 minutes - the equivalent of hours of work by a human researcher.
The model covers not only web search (now open to all paid subscribers) and Google Workspace, but also all connected integration tools. Each piece of information in the report is accompanied by a direct citation to the original source, making it easy for users to verify the results.
