Since its launch in 2023, Question AI has been downloaded six million times in the App Store and Google Play in the US. Many Chinese brick-and-mortar tutoring organizations and online learning apps have shifted their focus overseas since 2021 with great success.<\/p>\n<p data-track=\"3\">TechCrunch reports that Evan, a high school sophomore from Houston, was stumped by a math problem when he opened an educational AI app on his iPhone and took a picture of the question, and within seconds the app generated an answer with a step-by-step process for solving the problem.<\/p>\n<p data-track=\"4\">A year ago, Evan would solve his homework problems by watching YouTube videos. He also had a private tutor who charged $60 an hour (currently about $435).
