Compared to the previous GPT-4, the performance has been significantly improved.<\/p>\n<p data-track=\"4\">Currently, GPT-4o will be available in ChatGPT Free, Plus, Team and Enterprise as well as in the Chat Completions API, Assistants API and Batch API.<\/p>\n<p data-track=\"5\"><strong>GPT-4 Turbo compared to GPT-4o<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-track=\"6\">GPT-4o has the same level of intelligence as GPT-4, but is faster, cheaper, and more rate-limited than GPT-4 Turbo. The differences are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-track=\"7\">Price: GPT-4o is cheaper than GPT-4 Turbo 50% at $5\/million tokens for input tokens and $15\/million tokens for output tokens).<\/li>\n<li data-track=\"8\">Rate Limit: GPT-4o has a 5x higher rate limit than GPT-4 Turbo, up to 10 million tokens per minute.<\/li>\n<li data-track=\"9\">Speed: The GPT-4o is twice as fast as the GPT-4 Turbo.<\/li>\n<li data-track=\"10\">VISUAL: The GPT-4o outperformed the GPT-4 Turbo on assessments related to visual ability.<\/li>\n<li data-track=\"11\">Multi-language: GPT-4o better supports non-English languages than GPT-4 Turbo.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-track=\"12\">GPT-4o currently has a context window of 128k and a knowledge deadline of October 2023.<\/p>\n<p data-track=\"13\"><strong>Accessing GPT-4, GPT-4 Turbo, and GPT-4o in OpenAI APIs<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-track=\"14\">GPT-4o is available to anyone with an OpenAI API account, and you can use the model in the Chat Completions API, Assistants API and Batch API.<\/p>\n<p data-track=\"15\">GPT-4o also supports function calls and JSON mode.
