On February 14 this year, OpenAI publicly published an article titled &quot;Preventing Malicious Use of Artificial Intelligence by State-Related Threat Actors,&quot; which mentioned that it had blocked and restricted the use of some users from countries including China, North Korea, Iran, and Russia.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday, API developers took to social media to report that they had received a \"warning letter\" from OpenAI stating that they would be taking additional steps to stop API use in regions they do not support.
