In terms of industries, the financial services industry will be the biggest beneficiary of AI solution spending, expected to account for more than 20% of overall spending. The next major spending industries include software and services and retail. IDC also pointed out that AI spending growth will be relatively fast in the business and personal services industry and the transportation and leisure industry.<\/p>\n

In terms of use cases, AI infrastructure provision will be the main investment area for most companies, although it is expected to grow at a slower rate, with an average annual growth rate of 14.7%. However, other use cases such as enhanced fraud analysis, customer service and assistance services will have a more obvious growth momentum.<\/p>\n

Karen Massey, research manager at IDC, said that by 2028, the United States is expected to spend $336 billion, becoming the world's largest market for AI investment.
