There is also a timeline feature that allows you to review a particular day&#039;s work, which is really a very handy tool.<\/p>\n<p>However, although Microsoft has always claimed that this feature is secure and private, security personnel have found that the Recall database is not encrypted, which has caused some people to worry that malware may be able to access it.<\/p>\n<p>In response to these risks, Microsoft said that they are making major changes. They plan to make the Recall feature a user-selectable feature instead of a default feature, encrypt the database, and use Windows Hello for authentication. These measures are all to ensure user security and privacy.<\/p>\n<p>Microsoft&#039;s Windows and Surface chief Pavan Davuluri mentioned in a blog post that although the Recall feature has been delayed, security remains their top priority.<\/p>\n<p>They hope to bring everyone a trustworthy preview experience when Recall is officially launched in October.
