On the one hand.<strong>Presidential candidate Donald Trump recently threatened to put Zuckerberg in jail<\/strong>, and Zuckerberg himself has tried to distance himself from politics.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, Meta's AI competitors are actively working with the government. openAI and Anthropic recently said they would share their models with the U.S. Institute for AI security in advance of security reviews. Google is also widely known as the Pentagon's AI supplier. a recent blog post by OpenAI said its models are being used by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, the U.S. Agency for International Development, and the Los Alamos National Laboratory.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Zuckerberg revealed some information about the next generation of Llama models during the Q3 earnings call. He said.<strong>The fourth-generation model is being trained on clusters that are \"bigger than any other I've ever seen.\"<\/strong>It is expected to have \"new modalities\", \"stronger reasoning\" and \"faster performance\" when it is released next year.<\/p>\n<p>Zuckerberg admitted that<strong>Meta Plans to Continue Increasing Investment in AI Through 2025<\/strong>That \"may not be what investors want to hear in the short term\". But he believes the potential returns are worth it.<\/p>\n<p>\"I'm really excited about all the work we're doing right now,\" Zuckerberg said, \"It's probably the most energized moment I've seen in our industry, and I'm focused on making sure that we're building something awesome and making the most of the opportunities that lie ahead.\"<\/p>\n<p>From a business perspective, Meta continues to grow. The company reported third-quarter revenue of $40.5 billion, up 191 TP3T year-over-year, and profit of $17.3 billion.
