The move comes at a time when OpenAI is ramping up its efforts to promote ChatGPT's positive role in education. Since its launch in November 2022, ChatGPT has kicked off the generative AI boom and become one of the fastest growing apps in the world.<\/p>\n

The introduction of ChatGPT caught teachers off guard as they realized it could be used as a cheating and plagiarism tool, sparking an outcry and a ban issued by many schools.<\/p>\n
