The goal is for AI solutions to better reflect and benefit communities, incorporating key information from cultures and worldviews across generations into AI innovations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CORE Program:<\/strong>\u00a0The CORE program is dedicated to opening up academic knowledge globally. Microsoft will help provide machine access to academic research content and develop ethical ways to use academic content to develop artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n<p>Burton Davis, Vice President and Deputy General Counsel of Microsoft's Intellectual Property Group, emphasized that broad and varied access to data is critical to AI innovation, not only for large companies like Microsoft, but for researchers and startups as well.<\/p>\n<p>Data diversity can boost AI performance, improve safety, and minimize bias.<\/p>\n<p>Microsoft's partnership with IDI and CORE will provide all developers with more accessible, diverse, and high-quality data to promote the inclusive development of AI, which will ultimately benefit all of humanity.
