Operator has also been spotted in ChatGPT's macOS app, and users can switch between its functions via shortcuts in the ChatGPT macOS app.<\/p>\n<p>Operator leverages macOS's Accessibility API to interact with on-screen content and builds on existing functionality in the ChatGPT app, such as reading and analyzing code from developer tools like VS Code and Xcode. Unlike existing features that require user input to execute, Operator aims to perform tasks autonomously.<\/p>\n<p>The Information also recently reported that OpenAI may officially launch Operator this week, and judging from today's code update, Operator\u00a0<strong>It appears to be ready to open to the public soon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Operator is expected to run directly on the ChatGPT website without controlling the user's local computer.
