He mentioned that \"<strong>We dislike model selectors as much as our users do, and we want to return to a unified and intelligent experience<\/strong>.\" According to the plan, OpenAI will release GPT-4.5, internally codenamed Orion, which will be OpenAI's \"last non-chained thinking model.\"<\/p>\n<p>After GPT-4.5, Altman stated that<strong>An important goal of OpenAI is to \"unify the o-series models with the GPT-series models\".<\/strong>, by creating systems that can use all of our tools, systems that know when they need to think for long periods of time and when they don't, and can be applied to a wide range of tasks.\" He mentioned.<strong>The company plans to release the GPT-5 as a system integrating several technologies, including o3 technology<\/strong>. He added: \"<strong>o3 Will no longer be available as a stand-alone model<\/strong>.\" The o3 technology was first previewed in December 2024, followed by an o3-mini version in January 2025 by OpenAI.<\/p>\n<p>After GPT-5 went online, Altman stated that<strong>Free version of ChatGPT users will get \"Unlimited Chat Privileges\" under \"Standard Smart Settings\".<\/strong>Plus subscribers will be able to use GPT-5's \"higher level of intelligence\" and Pro subscribers will get a \"higher level of intelligence experience.
