Khan. \u201cAs companies race to develop and commercialize AI, we must guard against tactics that would impede that opportunity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Microsoft issued the following comment on the investigation, from Rima Alaily, corporate vice president of its Competition and Markets Regulation Group: \u201cThe United States is already leading the world in AI because important American companies are working together. Partnerships between independent companies like Microsoft and OpenAI, and many others, are fostering competition and accelerating innovation.
