According to Crunchbase data, the company raised around \u20ac2.5 million (note: the current exchange rate is around Rs. 20,663,000) in funding from investors, including France's Banque nationale de l'investissement (Bpifrance), before being acquired.<\/p>\n<p>The acquisition marks an expansion of Hugging Face's robotics efforts, with which Pollen has been working closely. Last year, Hugging Face partnered with Pollen to create \"Le Robot,\" an open-source robot capable of performing a variety of household tasks.
