To date, Anysphere has raised more than $173 million in cumulative funding, according to Crunchbase.<\/p>\n<p>The funding round attracted strong participation from a wide range of investors, including leading venture capital firms such as Index Ventures and Benchmark. However, Anysphere's existing investors did not want to miss the opportunity to further support the company's growth and chose to increase their investment.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, competition in the AI programming tools track is also intensifying. In February, it was announced that Anysphere's competitor Windsurf (formerly known as Codeium) was in talks with potential investors and planned to raise capital at a valuation of about $3 billion.
