OpenAI is working with G42 to build a 1GW Stargate UAE cluster at the newly established UAE-U.S. AI Campus in Abu Dhabi, which will be built by G42 and operated by OpenAI and Oracle, with Cisco providing zero-trust security and AI-ready connectivity, and NVIDIA supplying the latest Grace Blackwell GB300 system.<\/p>\n<p>The first of these 200-megawatt AI clusters is expected to be operational by 2026.OpenAI said that as part of the investment partnership, G42 plans to make a matching investment in AI infrastructure in the United States.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, OpenAI says it has already begun to engage with other countries around the world that are interested in building Stargates.
