June 23, 2010 - All England Lawnbasketball<\/a>Clubs and IBM<\/a> announced today that it will host the 2025 Wimbledon Championships (hereafter referred to as the \"Wimbledon lawn tennis championship<\/a>\") during which new and enhanced AI digital experiences are brought to fans.<\/p>\n

This includes the debut of the interactive AI assistant \"Match Chat<\/a><\/strong>\" that can answer fan questions in real time during singles matches.<\/p>\n

\u201cLikelihood to Win<\/strong>\"The prediction tool has also been enhanced to provide fans with dynamically changing probabilities of winning in every game.<\/p>\n

These solutions combine extensive match data with generative AI technology from AI and data platform IBM watsonx to help fans engage with the two-week Wimbledon tournament in a more innovative and customized way.<\/p>\n

Fans can experience the Match Chat feature via the Wimbledon App and official website, interacting with pre-set prompts or asking their own questions, such as, \"Who converted more break points in the match?\" or \"Who played better?\" or \"Who played better in the match?\" . The system will provide\u00a0AI-generated real-time feedback<\/strong>, including game analysis and insights to bring fans a richer viewing experience.<\/p>\n

The Match Chat feature is built on the watsonx Orchestrate platform and introduces AI technologies such as AI Intelligentsia and IBM Granite's Large Language Model (LLM), which is trained in Wimbledon's editorial style and tennis language. Fans can also use the Match Chat feature on some of the key match pages after the match via IBM Slamtracker in the Digital Event Center.<\/p>\n

The enhanced 'Likelihood to Win' prediction tool performs comprehensive AI analysis and generates predictions based on player data, expert opinion and match trends. The tool utilizes IBM technology, including Red Hat Openshift, to ensure developers can build, deploy and scale applications in multi-cloud environments.<\/p>\n

Fans can experience these and other features through IBM Slamtracker; the IBM Slamtracker module is now fully live on the Wimbledon App and website.<\/p>\n
