By providing rigorous and independent scientific assessments, the panel will assist the international community in anticipating emerging challenges and making informed decisions about the governance of this transformative technology.<\/p>\n<p>United Nations Secretary-General Guterres will soon launch an open call for nominations for members of the Scientific Panel on Artificial Intelligence.
