The statement states: \u201cWe call for the prohibition of super-intellectual research and development, which should not be lifted until there is broad scientific consensus that its development can be carried out in a safe and manageable manner and with general public support.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Among the signatories were Jeffrey Hinton and Joshua Bengio, the former President of Ireland Mary Robinson, and Prince Harry\u3002<\/p>\n<p>The non-profit advocacy organization Future of Life Institute, FLI, released this open letter on Wednesday, along with a public opinion survey: only 51 TP3T Americans support the current \u201cunregulated state of artificial intelligence development\u201d. According to the survey conducted by the organization, nearly three quarters of respondents supported strong regulation of artificial intelligence\u3002<\/p>\n<p>The President of the Institute, Max Tegmark, said: \u201cIt is our common humanity that binds all together ... And more and more people are beginning to realize that the greatest threat may come not from another company, or even from another country, but from the machinery that we are building ourselves.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>at present,<strong>A number of leading technology giants, including OpenAI, Meta and Google, and start-ups of artificial intelligence are competing to spearhead a breakthrough in \u201csuper-intelligence\u201d or \u201cgeneral-intelligence\u201d (AGI)<\/strong>I don't know. However, Mask's xAI company is now continuously advancing the development of artificial intelligence systems\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Tegmak stressed that the scope of this latest statement has become more focused, and that there is a need for a new, more focused statement<strong>\u201cnever call for a complete moratorium on artificial intelligence development\u201d<\/strong>I don't know. He added that \u201ccancer cure, auto-driving, or a significant increase in productivity and efficiency cannot be achieved by relying on super intelligence.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The statement was also signed by several prominent Chinese scientists<strong>Among them, the Turing winner, Yao Zheng Jiu, and former president Zhang Yaqin<\/strong>I don't know. For their own benefit, they will all oppose out of control, so they need no trust at all.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Other signatories included the co-founder of Apple Steve Wozniak, the co-founder of the Virgin Group Richard Branson, and faith leaders from all major religions\u3002<\/p>\n<p>The process of regulation of artificial intelligence globally is slow. Despite strong criticism from industry, the most advanced legislative framework, the EU AI Act, is being implemented in stages.
