Google emphasizes that:Gemma didn't intend to use it as a consumer tool from the beginning, nor should it be used to answer factual questions<\/strong>I don't know. \u201cTo avoid such confusion, Gemma cannot now access it through AI Studio, but developers can continue to use the model through API.\u201d<\/p>\n

Although Google does not specify what specific reports prompted Gemma, the Republican Senator Martha Blackburn of Tennessee wrote to Google Chief Executive Officer Sundar Pichai last Thursday accusing the company of defamation and anti-conservative bias. Blackburn has also raised similar issues before the Senate Business Committee in a hearing on the AI defamation suit against Google by anti-pluricultural activist Robbie Starbuck. DESPITE ADVANCES IN TECHNOLOGY, THERE IS NO CLEAR SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM OF ACCURACY.
