The failure of Apple Intelligence 1.0, combined with the rapid advance of rivals, forced the Apple Top to hold a secret conference in early 2025 to start the overhaul\u3002<\/p>\n

Since then, the founder of Vision Pro, Mike Rockwell, has taken over from Siri, the software manager Craig Federighi has taken full ownership of the AI strategy, former Google and Microsoft Engineering executives Amar Subramanya have joined the research in charge of the model, and former AI director John Giannandrea has left this year\u3002<\/p>\n

WWDC 2026 is also CEO Tim Cook's last major product appearance before his official departure. Cook had previously admitted that Apple Inteligence had more errors than Apple Map and had been personally involved in AI planning after the crisis\u3002<\/p>\n

The central focus of the conference was a comprehensive upgrade of AI Siri. Apple projects independent AI assistant applications that compete with ChatGPT, supports chat type robots, and introduces generated AI image editing\u3002<\/p>\n

At the system level, new versions of iOS 27, macOS 27, watchOS 27 and viewOS 27 will be synchronized.
