Tsimmerman introduced the o-minimality tool in the mathematical logic into the arithmetic geometry and composite algebra geometry, working with Benjamin Bakker and Yohan Brunebarbe to solve the half-century-old Griffiths conjecture. He was also involved in completing Andr\u00e9-Oort's guess and became the youngest full professor of mathematics at the University of Toronto\u3002<\/p>\n

Tsimmerman states that large model research continues to rely mainly on experience and engineering methods, and mathematical theory can help researchers understand, guide and control these systems. He has stopped recruiting Ph.D. students because he does not want them to prepare for a mathematical career that could change fundamentally\u3002<\/p>\n
