Altman said that another possibility he feared was that artificial intelligence would free itself from human control. Paradoxically, Altman said that fear of the latter possibility could lead to the realization of the former\u3002<\/p>\n

1AI noted that Amody warned in podcasts, articles and corporate blogs about the dangers of rapid development of artificial intelligence. In an article in June, Amody wrote that the company's new Mythos model posed a \u201cvery real threat\u201d to cybersecurity, the financial industry, critical infrastructure and national security\u3002<\/p>\n

Amody used these warnings to advocate a greater role for the Government in regulating artificial intelligence. In Ortmann's view, this could be freedom for security\u3002<\/p>\n

Anthropic is also the only large artificial intelligence company that did not sign a joint letter supporting the open weight model last month. Open weight models allow developers to share, download, modify and deploy artificial intelligence models on their own infrastructure\u3002<\/p>\n

China has embraced the open weight model, which enables it to keep up with Silicon Valley at very low cost. A number of United States companies, including Ingweida, Meta and Microsoft, believe that the United States needs to do the same, otherwise there is a risk of handing over positions to competitors in artificial intelligence competitions\u3002<\/p>\n

Although OpenAI did not publish the source code for its front-line model, two open weight models were released last year: gpt-oss-120b and gpt-oss-20b\u3002<\/p>\n

Among the podcasts, Altmann also indicated that the United States leadership of artificial intelligence had failed to show the public how this technology could give people greater autonomy over their lives\u3002<\/p>\n
