THE RATE OF PRODUCTIVITY GROWTH IN THE UNITED STATES HAS ALSO ACCELERATED IN THE PAST FEW YEARS, PARTIALLY OR IN RELATION TO THE IMPACT OF THE INITIAL AI APPLICATION\u3002<\/p>\n<p>BASED ON SOME EXTERNAL ESTIMATES, THE SCALE OF PRIVATE SECTOR-DRIVEN AI INVESTMENTS GLOBALLY IN 2026<strong>Or it'll break into $2 trillion<\/strong><strong>(Current exchange rate is about RMB 13.43 trillion)<\/strong>It has been one of the fastest-growing engines of economic growth in recent years\u3002<\/p>\n<p>As global expenditures shift<strong>DEPLOYMENT OF AI IN ALL SECTORS<\/strong>THE RESULTING PRODUCTIVITY GAINS ARE EXPECTED TO ACCELERATE IN MORE INDUSTRIES AND OCCUPATIONS. ASIA IS ACTIVELY SEEKING DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES FROM AI. SINGAPORE RANKS FIRST IN THE IMFAI PREPAREDNESS INDEX WITH A WELL-DEVELOPED DIGITAL INFRASTRUCTURE, EDUCATION SYSTEM AND FORWARD-LOOKING REGULATION\u3002<strong>East Asia is the global centre for chip manufacturing and design, while South-East Asia builds on its manufacturing advantages to move further up the value chain<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>RISKS ALSO EXIST. POLICYMAKERS, FAMILIES AND BUSINESSES ARE INCREASINGLY CONCERNED ABOUT THE CHANGES THAT AI WILL BRING TO THE LABOUR MARKET, INCLUDING THE REPLACEMENT OF MORE JOBS AND THE LOWERING OF WAGES FOR SOME WORKERS\u3002<\/p>\n<p>THE IMF RESEARCH FOUND THAT<strong>INCREASED PAY FOR JOBS THAT REQUIRE AI SKILLS<\/strong>However, cities and regions with more jobs<strong>No overall employment growth<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>WORKERS WITH AI SKILLS ARE BENEFITING, AS ARE LOW-SKILLED WORKERS WHO PROVIDE SERVICES TO HIGH-INCOME PEOPLE.
