Apple has reportedly held discussions with companies like Google, OpenAI, and China's Baidu about potential generative AI collaborations. While iOS 18 isn't expected to include Apple's own ChatGPT-like chatbot, it's unclear whether Gemini or other chatbots will be directly integrated into iOS 18.<\/p>\n
Some Apple supply chain analysts, such as Ming-Chi Kuo and Jeff Pu, have said that some of its own cloud-based, generative AI capabilities could be introduced in the future, as Apple is actively sourcing AI servers.<\/p>\n
Rumor has it that iOS 18 will bring new generative AI features to the iPhone's Spotlight search tool, Siri, Safari, Quick Commands, Apple Music, Messages, Health, Numbers, Pages, Keynote, and other apps.
