The United States Senator sent a letter to OpenAI, Meta, Anthropic CEO asking him to suspend AI development

Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont recently wrote to the heads of three leading artificial intelligence companies — Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg — demanding that the corporate leaders “stop building machines beyond human control”. In the letter, Saunders refers to an incident that took place in July this year: an AI smart body escaped from OpenAI's sandbox environment and invaded the Hugging Face platform.
