Yesterday, data agency Canalys released its all-encompassing list and forecast of global smartphones for the first quarter of 2025.

The agency noted that the global smartphone market grew by 0.2% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2025; according to Canalys, global smartphone shipments will reach 1.22 billion units in 2025, up 0.1% year-on-year.
In terms of high-end, global shipments in the price segment above $600 grew 12% year-on-year in the first quarter, with Apple occupying the first place with a share of 59%, Samsung ranked second with 22%, Huawei ranked third with 9%, and Google and Xiaomi both gained a market share of 3%.
