The news of September 24thAnthropic Announced today Claude Code The cloud session closes the preview and is officially online. The function allows the user to keep the mission running in the cloud after the computer has been shut down and to view and take over from browsers, mobile phones, desktop applications or terminals。
The cloud session is open to users of Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise. Existing subscribers receive a one-time experience level: Pro user $100 (current exchange rate approximately RMB 672.3) and Max user $250 (current rate approximately RMB 1,681)。
Users can access the official pick-up page or execute /claim-credit in Claude Code. The deadline for receipt is 23:59 Pacific time on 7 October (Beijing time on 8 October at 14:59) and is valid until 4 November at 23:59。
According to official documents, cloud sessions can run the cloud infrastructure managed by Anthropic or by way of the organization ' s own hosting environment. Users can start with Code tags, Claud options or terminals from claude.ai/code, Claude mobile phones。
In a terminal, a user can run a claude –cloud to create a new cloud session; using claude –teleport can drag a cloud session back to the local terminal to continue (–teleport is a message in the Claude Code command line to restore the cloud session and its branch to the local command)。
Cloud session supports the GitHub repository to clone and pull requests and can be created through Claude GitHub App or /web-setup. Claude can respond to CI failure and review comments when the automatic restoration is activated and send the restoration when it is clear。
Each cloud session runs in an isolated virtual machine, the Anthropic hosting environment defaults restricted network access, and Git certificates and signature keys remain outside the sandbox. The self-hosting environment is under the organization ' s own responsibility for isolation and access control。
With respect to limitations, cloud sessions and other Claude and Claude Code share speed limits. Repository cloning and pull request to create GitHub may fail to authenticate a cloud session hosted by Anthropic if the organization activates the IP white list。
