OpenAI committed to publishing water for data centres and commissioned independent noise studies

OpenAI indicated on Thursday that it would publish its data centre water consumption, make public its construction programme and commission an independent noise study before the data centre became operational. The company also undertook not to require the signing of confidentiality agreements with public officials with whom it discussed the disputed facilities.
