On 1 September, according to 9to5Mac, Tim Cook sent an internal farewell memo to his staff yesterday on the last day of Apple CEO, thanking the team for its many years of service. He said that being an Apple CEO was a "unfortunate honour of life" and that the most proud thing about apples was not the number in the annual report, but the "culture is more than anything": employees believed that the products they had built were meaningful and had a responsibility to make the world a better place.
