Musk ramps up lawsuit against OpenAI

Recently, Musk's lawsuit against the U.S. Open Artificial Intelligence Research Center (OpenAI) escalated again. Musk filed a new complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, which is 107 pages long, an increase of more than 20 pages from the original complaint. It adds more antitrust allegations to the lawsuit filed in August and names Microsoft and California Attorney General Bornthal as defendants. In the new indictment, Musk accuses OpenAI of trying to monopolize the generative AI market. The new indictment reads, "Apparently not satisfied with the near-monopoly they have achieved in the generative AI market, Microsoft and OpenAI are suppressing competitors like xAI by requiring investors to pledge not to fund other ventures."
