Dragon Medical One is a clinical documentation companion that captures complete documents through speech detection technology without the need for speech profile training, while DAX Copilot is a generative AI-based medical record creation tool.
Dragon Copilot combines the functionality of two services, provides clinicians and other care providers with multilingual environment note creation, automated tasks, multilingual support, personalized styles and formatting, natural language speech input capabilities, voice memos, editing, custom text, templates, AI prompts, and more.
Dragon Copilot will also allow clinicians to perform generic medical information searches and access trusted sources. Physicians can also automate simple tasks such as notes and clinical evidence summaries, referral letters and follow-up summaries. The tool can even be integrated with electronic health record systems for seamless patient information access.
For more than two decades, the company has continued to provide front-end voice capabilities that help clinicians document billions of patient charts voice solutions that bring convenience to clinicians, patients and healthcare organizations, saving an average of five minutes per session, resulting in an additional 13 appointments per doctor per month, and reducing fatigue and burnout, Microsoft said. Meanwhile, 93% patients report that their doctors are more personable and conversational thanks to Microsoft's technology.
1AI has learned from the official Microsoft blog that Dragon Copilot will launch in North America in May, and will soon be followed by the UK, Germany, France and the Netherlands.
