Weibo will start timely management of unmarked "AI rumors", up to banning to close the account

Weibo said that the platform will combine AI technical capabilities, special manual audits and user reports and complaints to actively identify unidentified AI content and dispose of it accordingly (especially content related to people's livelihood, emergencies, popularization of science and medicine, and personal rights and interests), and invite users to participate in the rules and regulations of the research:

• 1. A single piece of content for an account is generated by AI and is not actively tagged - tagging of content suggests that it is suspected to be generated by AI;
• 2. Multiple pieces of content from an account are generated by AI and are not actively identified - a restriction is placed on the distribution of traffic to this account;
• 3. Single/multiple content AI generated by an account without active marking and causing a bad influence - the account is banned until it is closed;
• 4. For those that have been actively identified as being generated by AI, if the content itself is not in violation of the law and does not have an adverse impact, it will not be disposed of for the time being.
