April 5, 2012 - With the generative AI s rapid rise, the world is rapidly evolving into a new realm and redefining how we view work. Over the past few months, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has shared interesting insights on how AI is impacting work.

In an interview with The Indian Express in March, Bill Gates shared more insights about the impact of AI on jobs:
- We weren't born to do a job.. Work is a product of the age of shortages, and oh boy, somebody's got to be a farmer. Well, someone had to drive those trucks. All of these provide a wide range of services based on the creation of human intelligence.
- So when you no longer need these. You'll have more free time., and those who grew up in a world without shortages will have to think about them.
Bill Gates recognizes that readjusting thinking to this new reality will be a daunting task, especially for a generation growing up in a world rife with shortages. Once this feat is achieved, society will reach a level of output, food and medical sufficiency. It will no longer be necessary for everyone to work as they do today..
1AI notes that Bill Gates also recently stated that AI will replace humans in most things...He claims that only three jobs will survive the AI revolution, including biologists, energy experts and programmersThe main reason for this is that these areas are too complex to be fully automated through AI.
