According to the updated logs and support page on OpenAI's website, OpenAI has launched a new feature called "Memory with Search", which will allow ChatGPT to optimize search results when performing web searches by combining personal information stored in memory (note: e.g., a user's past mentions of dietary preferences). To turn off the feature, users can simply turn off Memory in the ChatGPT settings menu. It's not clear which users the feature has been made available to, but some X users have reported that they've been seeing "Memory with Search" go live since the beginning of the week.
