Tsinghua University Artificial Intelligence Hospital Unveiled Tsinghua University Artificial Intelligence Hospital (Note: Tsinghua AI Agent Hospital) construction will be carried out in phases, the initial stage will be in the school AI comprehensive layout and multidisciplinary medical and industrial crossover on the basis of the construction of the AI hospital system, relying on the Beijing Tsinghua Changgeng Hospital and the Beijing Tsinghua Changgeng Internet Hospital trial run.General medicine and specialties such as ophthalmology, diagnostic radiology and respiratory medicine were used as pilots.
Tsinghua University said that in the future, it will build an ecological closed loop of "AI + medical care + education + research" to promote the efficient expansion and balanced layout of high-quality medical resources, and is committed to enabling more people to enjoy affordable and sustainable high-quality medical services.
According to Huang Tianyin, vice provost and dean of Tsinghua University's School of Medicine, the AI hospital aims to break the "traditional hospital + AI" mode of operation, driven by clinical medical services, and incorporate AI intelligence functions from the bottom of the design to assist doctors in accurate decision-making, improve the efficiency of healthcare services and patient satisfaction, and reduce the hospital's operating costs.Promote solutions to the shortage of primary care physicians.In the long run, we plan to physically operate the AI hospital to promote disruptive changes in the medical model. In the future, the hospital will also serve as an important scenario for Tsinghua's medical education and an important platform for medical talent training, and cultivate a new generation of "AI collaborative doctors".
