May 19 News.Microsoftrecently in order to Copilot AI has pushed out its latest update, the most important feature of which is the addition of the OpenAI GPT-4o Support for image generation techniques.
1AI has reported that earlier this year, OpenAI launched the GPT-4o image generator, whose powerful features have generated a lot of buzz, especially the generated Ghibli-style (Ghibli) emoji packets that have exploded on the Internet.
Microsoft said, "We've upgraded Copilot's Image Generation feature to 4o Image Generation, enabling users to create more detailed and beautifully composed images. With this update, Copilot is even better at optimizing based on existing images, and users can even upload their own images as a starting point for greater creative control and flexibility." The GPT-4o model brings a number of new image-generating capabilities to Microsoft Copilot, including the ability to edit creations, change the style of existing images, generate photo-realistic photos, render clear and readable text, and follow complex commands.
It's worth noting that Microsoft introduced OpenAI's GPT-4o image generator to the enterprise-oriented Microsoft 365 Copilot last month, and this update extends that technology to the consumer-oriented version of Microsoft Copilot. This update gives Copilot an edge in image generation capabilities over Microsoft's Microsoft Designer and Image Creator by Designer, which still rely on OpenAI's older DALL-E image generation technology.
However, despite Microsoft's multi-billion dollar partnership with OpenAI, it appears that Microsoft is still at a disadvantage in some areas. Mustafa Suleyman, head of Microsoft's AI department, has complained that OpenAI often fails to provide timely access to its advanced AI models, making it difficult for Microsoft to integrate the technology. To reduce its dependence on OpenAI, Microsoft is actively developing its own in-house AI models to deal with unforeseen situations that may arise.
