Opera claims its new AI server cluster is designed to have as little impact on the environment as possible — it’s located in Iceland.Relying on hydroelectric and geothermal power for energy and Iceland's fresh air for cooling.
Opera’s new server cluster is based on the “DGX SuperPOD with NVIDIA DGX H100 systems” model, which NVIDIA claims is “ideal for scaled infrastructure to support larger and more complex AI workloads, such as large language models and deep learning recommendation systems using NVIDIA NeMo.”
