July 17, 2011 - Technology media outlet 9to5Mac published a blog post yesterday (July 16), reporting that OpenAI incline to ChatGPT Plus subscribers.Opened up access to the Record Mode mode in the ChatGPT app for macOS.

Note: OpenAI's "ChatGPT for business" update in June introduced Record Mode for Team, Enterprise, and Edu users, enabling AI-assisted note-taking in meetings and conference calls.
Added a small "Record" button to the ChatGPT app, which, when pressed, starts recording system audio.
After recording, the audio is uploaded to the OpenAI server, where the system transcribes it and generates structured meeting notes, including summaries, key points, action items, follow-up questions, and more.
What's unique about ChatGPT's Record Mode is that, unlike other AI meeting assistants where you have to appear as a participant, this feature listens locally through your Mac.
OpenAI is also aware of the potential for misuse of this feature and advises users to "Ensure that you comply with local laws and always obtain appropriate consent before recording. Ensure that your use of Record Mode complies with applicable laws, which may vary depending on your location and the location of the person being recorded."
