August 9, 2012 - "2025 WorldHumanoid Robotfield dayThe launch event was held today, confirming that the 2025 World Humanoid Robot Games will open on the evening of August 14th at the National Speed Skating Arena's "Ice Ribbon".
According to CCTV, the 2025 World Humanoid Robot Games is the world's first comprehensive competitive event for humanoid robots, with 280 teams from 16 countries and five continents competing. The event will last for three days, from August 15th to 17th.
The 2025 World Humanoid Robot Games is jointly organized by the Beijing Municipal People's Government, the China Central Radio and Television Administration (CCTV) and other organizations, and co-hosted by CCTV's Beijing Terminal, the world's first comprehensive games with humanoid robots as the main participants.
The 280 teams from all over the world will bring more than 500 humanoid robots from 127 brands to compete in 26 competitions, including 22 main competitions in 3 categories of Competitive Competition, Performance Competition and Scenario Competition, as well as 5 peripheral competitions of Badminton, Basketball, Table Tennis, Free Fighting and Group Dance.
