Just now.NvidiaOfficially announced the general availability of the Jetson AGX Thor development kit and mass production module, the real-life version of Jarvis, which is specifically designed for physical AI androbotBuilt for high performancecomputing platform, the performance enhancement is rather un-martialized.

Based on NVIDIA's Blackwell GPU architecture and equipped with 128GB of RAM, the Jetson AGX Thor delivers 7.5x more performance and 3.5x more power efficiency than the previous generation of Jetson Orin, delivering up to 2,070 FP4 TeraFLOPS of AI computation, while consuming only 130 watts of power.
In addition, the core highlight of Jetson Thor is the real-time interaction capability. According to the introduction, Jetson Thor is tailored for generative reasoning models to support the next generation of physical AI intelligences. These intelligences are driven by large transformer models, visual language models, and visual language action models, and can run in real-time at the edge, minimizing dependence on the cloud.
Powered by the Jetson software stack, Thor is fully capable of meeting the demanding low-latency and high-performance requirements of real-time applications, and supports all major AI frameworks, including general-purpose models such as Cosmos Reason, DeepSeek, Llama, Gemini, and Qwen, as well as robot-specific models such as the Isaac GR00T N1.5.
The Jetson AGX Thor development kit is also quite well equipped, containing a Jetson T5000 module, a reference carrier board, an active heatsink with fan, and power adapter.
And the lineup of NVIDIA customers this time around is quite impressive:Manufacturers such as Agility Robotics, Amazon Robotics, Boston Dynamics, Caterpillar, Figure, Hexagon, Medtronic, Union Medical, Wanjie Technology, Ubiquity, Galaxy General, Yushu Technology, Zongkei Robotics, and Zhiyuan Robotics have already taken the lead.
NVIDIA founder Jen-Hsun Huang said:
Jetson Thor is designed for the millions of developers around the world who are building robotic systems that can interact with, and even transform, the physical world. It offers unrivaled performance and power efficiency, and the ability to run multiple generative AI models simultaneously on edge devices. As a supercomputer of excellence, Jetson Thor is driving the real era of physical AI and general-purpose robotics.
