March 25th news, yesterdayClaude One-time release of three new features: Computer Use (computer control),/schedule (twilight timing task) and Claude Code Desktop, currently in the research preview, is open to Pro and Max subscribers。
Computer Use: Claude directly manipulates the user's Mac computer, including mouse, keyboard and screens, which can open local applications, browse web pages, fill out forms and cover "almost all operations that the user can do in front of the computer". Currently only MacOS, Windows support is on the way
Dispatch Movement Control Capability: Users can use their mobile phone to send a mission to Claude, performed by Claude on the local Mac, and then push the result back to the cell phone. This structure emphasizes "the cloud thinking, local execution" and does not need to expose accounts or passwords to the cloud, using similar experiences OpenClaw;
/Schedule command: A cloud timing task capability has been introduced for Claude Code. The /schedule mission operates on the cloud infrastructure of Anthropic, and the mission continues after the user has shut down the computer or broken off the network。
Claude Official stated that the Computer Use, while on mission, gave priority to the use of connected applications integration, such as Slack, calendars, etc.; in the absence of a direct connection, applications were operated through screen control only with the user ' s express permission。
