OverDrive has filed a suit in the Ohio State Court, alleging that the version of AI produced by OpenAI generated video applications of Sora in connection with trademark infringement, unfair competition and fraudulent business practices. According to the indictment, OpenAI deliberately gave the same name to Sora under the OverDrive flag for this recently introduced application and “uses similar icons, colour schemes and visual identifiers that can cause confusion”.
