Musk says AI is growing faster than ever before

February 29, atBosch GroupAt the BCW (Bosch Connected World) event, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said that artificial intelligence technology is advancing rapidly, calling it a rapid advancement never seen before.
He noted that AI technology seems to grow exponentially every six months, but he also warned that this rate cannot continue forever or it will outstrip the mass of the universe. "AI will use up all our electricity and transformers by 2025," he said.
He added that NVIDIA has a huge market capitalization because they have the best neural network chips. Musk also mentioned humanoid robots as an important application area for AI, as exemplified by Tesla's humanoid robot Optimus Prime, capable of doing almost anything a human can do.
However, Musk remains skeptical about the safety of AI, and he laughs at the hope that robots will be friendly to humans.
