xAI Recruit Chinese AI Trainers

On 1 June, the Mask flag XAI posted recruitment information on its official recruitment website and hired an AI Tutor – Chinese instructor. The position is the lead in the global teleworking model, which mainly assists in training and optimizing voice interaction and multilingual processing of the AI model Grok. According to the recruitment data, the United States regional entry rates range from $35 to $45 per hour (approximately RMB 237 to RMB 304), depending on experience and academic qualifications, while the remuneration of international recruits will be applied in the recruitment process. With regard to the threshold for recruitment, applicants must have a Chinese language proficiency at the mother tongue level and are familiar with different accents, dialects or regional language differences; they must also have an English level B2 level or above and be able to provide natural and clear recording. Positions require a high degree of acoustic sensitivity and understanding, and staff need to be able to make independent and accurate judgements in complex or noise-containing audio and to have high levels of transliteration. Priority will be given to candidates with backgrounds such as linguistics, speech science or processing experience with voice databases and AI training data.
