According to several traders, DeepSeek, a large model company, restarted a second round of financing, with a plan to raise $50 billion and a pre-investment estimate of about $500 billion, and plans to complete the contract by late August. Several investors mentioned that the DeepSeek second round of financing had been opened at least in mid-July, but was abruptly suspended at the end of July, when a number of investors on the negotiating alternate list were informed that the plan to sign the financing agreement had been suspended. According to media reports on 26 July, DeepSeek suspended the second round of financing, one reason being that DeepSeek's founder, Liang Wenfeng, was dissatisfied with the widespread web-based statements that revolved around the supposedly leaked “inventory of investor-oriented meetings”. DeepSeek and investors at the negotiating table hope that the financing will be low-key once it is restarted. At present, a number of investment agencies that had previously been actively approached indicated that they had not received information about DeepSeek ' s re-financing and that the passage remained suspended.
