GoogleAI operations are meeting with major changes in personnel: Hasabis is leaving as Chief Executive Officer DeepMind and Chief Scientist Dean

Google Local Time announced on 5 August that CEO DeepMind of Google, Demis Hassabis, would be transferred as Chairman of the Department and Chief Scientist of Alphabet. Koray Kavukcuoglu, who is currently the Chief AI Architect of Google and has long served as Deputy Hasabis, will serve as Senior Vice-President, taking over most of Hasabi ' s responsibilities and reporting directly to Executive Director Sandhar Pichai of Alphabet. Google also announced that its long-standing involvement in the development of GoogleAI strategies, the departure of Jeff Dean, the chief scientist who had served at the company for 27 years, and the establishment of an independent enterprise with Sanjay Ghemawat, a senior Google researcher, aimed at accelerating discovery in the fields of machine learning, science and engineering.
