MA YUN WENT TO AMERICAN AI: VALUED AT $4 BILLION AND THE OWNER SLEPT IN THE OFFICE FOR SEVEN DAYS A WEEK

On 6 August, according to Business Insider, Mayun's private equity company secretly received the latest round of financing from Corgi, the first known investment of the company in a start-up company in the United States. On the basis of information provided by informed sources and the transaction documents seen in The Business Insider, the Cloudside Fund, created jointly by Mayun and the Entrepreneurs at Risk, invested approximately $30 million in Corgi. Forbes reported last month that Corgi was valued at $4 billion for the round. Corgi is an AI commercial insurance start-up company under the Y Combinator Summer Incubator Project 2024. It is one of the most popular start-ups in San Francisco, and the valuation has more than tripled in the last three months. The company is best known for operating a 24-hour café in San Francisco and promoting its business culture, which operates seven days a week. Nico Laqua, co-founder of Corgi, stated that he sleeps in his office, usually for only three to four hours and without rest on weekends. (phoenix technology)
