According to Business Insider, a document filed in California last April shows unknown person Jacob Thomas Vespers as the administrator of the OpenAI Venture Fund. Less than two months later, on May 24, another document filed with the SEC listed OpenAI CEO Sam Altman as the fund's manager. In response, an OpenAI spokesperson said that "Vespers does not exist" and that the documents were "forged" and "illegal," but declined to elaborate.
