On the evening of April 1, local time, OpenAI updated its official website to say that the API's error rate had increased between 17:15 and 17:43 Pacific Time that afternoon; ChatGPT's error rate had also increased between 17:27 and 17:39 Pacific Time; and that users who were not logged in were temporarily unable to access ChatGPT, but that access was restored at around 19:40 Pacific Time Access.
The incident has now been resolved.OpenAI announced on January 1 that it will first allow users to use ChatGPT directly in some markets without registering for the service, in order to make it easier for users to experience the benefits of artificial intelligence. (Interface News)
