On 14 October, OpenAI wrote on the Internet announcing strategic cooperation with Broadcom to deploy a self-research AI accelerator cluster totalling 10 Giwa in the coming years. The two partners are: OpenAI, which is responsible for designing customized AI accelerators and systems and for embedding their research and development directly into hardware to enhance their numeracy and intelligence. It will provide a full set of web-based solutions, such as Ethernet, PCIe and light interconnection, and will be responsible for the deployment of aircraft-grade systems.
